Dedicated to Supporting Operating Companies
In 1999, Grupo KC (www.grupoKC.com.ve)
was founded in Caracas, Venezuela by a team of professionals with
extensive experience in oil & gas industry projects. The company
started providing pre-operations and commissioning services to International
Oil Companies (OIC) operating in Venezuela, and rapidly grew by addressing
key customer needs that arose during the start-up of Orinoco Heavy
Oil Belt upstream and downstream facilities.
From 1999 to 2002, Grupo KC continued to develop its capabilities
and grew to provide complete commissioning, start-up and operations
services in the Venezuelan market.
In 2002, Grupo KC changed its name to Kizer Energy and expanded
operations by establishing a Houston office with an objective to
diversify the Venezuelan portfolio of services and best practices
to markets outside of Venezuela.
Growth in Venezuela, Canada and the US
In 2004, Kizer Energy opened an office in Puerto La Cruz, Venezuela
and founded the Energy Training Center (www.etc.com.ve),
a joint venture between Kizer Energy and Wood Group. The Energy Training
Center (ETC) facility's state-of-the-art technology is designed to
deliver oil & gas training solutions to the South American market.
From 2002 to 2006, Kizer Energy continued to grow profitability
in the Venezuelan market by doubling revenues every year and reaching
over 200 employees by the end of 2006.
In 2007, Kizer Energy made a major investment to pursue opportunities
outside Venezuela and relocated its corporate headquarters to the
heart of the Houston Energy Corridor. Additionally in 2007, Kizer
Energy Canada opened an office in Calgary, Alberta to provide consulting
services to the Oil Sands Heavy Oil Projects.

Strategies for Continued Growth
Markets
Kizer Energy continues to invest in growth strategies to expand
our capability to existing and new markets. Due to recent traction
in Spain, the company will open an office in Madrid in the last quarter
of 2008. Additionally capitalizing on project growth requests from
the Middle East, the company is finalizing business plans to open
an office in Abu Dhabi in early 2009. Finally, the company has entered
discussions to pursue several opportunities in Africa, including
opening an office in Nigeria with a Nigerian partner in early 2009.
Technology
Kizer Energy is currently implementing an ISO 9000 certification
project and we expect to have our certification finalized by the
end of 2008. This certification process has benefited the company
greatly by assuring that our technology and process are standardized
and systematically applied, and quality control is managed accordingly.
Kizer Energy purchased SAP Medium Enterprise Suite and plans to
migrate the entire company's operating system to this platform starting
in 2009. We have also developed customized computer training and
maintenance management systems for several clients.
Resources
This is key to Kizer Energy's history and critical to our future
success. Further investments are underway in our online recruitment
system and we are strengthening our international HR capabilities.
Our core team of technology experts is working with our HR department
to develop a mentoring program for college students and recent graduates
to build our resource base for future projects.
